The Colours block

Show your palette and let readers copy exact values.

Add up to 24 colours. For each colour set:

  • a name and the HEX value (or use the colour picker) — RGB is worked out from it

  • CMYK for print, for example 0 60 80 10 (it's saved as C0 M60 Y80 K10)

  • a Pantone reference, for example 3435 C (saved as PMS 3435 C)

  • an optional usage note, such as "Headlines and buttons"

You can also add colours straight from the brand's settings, so the values match everywhere.

CMYK: type it or calculate it

Click Calculate next to the CMYK field — or Calculate CMYK for colours without one — to fill in a value based on the HEX colour.

Pantone references can't be calculated; type them in from your Pantone guide.

Options

  • Click to copy values — readers click a swatch to copy the HEX value, or click any value (HEX, RGB, CMYK, Pantone) to copy exactly that.

  • Show RGB, Show CMYK and Show Pantone — choose which values readers see. CMYK and Pantone only appear for colours that have them.

  • Layout: 2 columns, 4 columns or List.
